Happy Woods Woodworking

Happy Woods Woodworking is a husband and wife team bringing you products we make for you from central Pennsylvania. Ryan and Miranda started Happy Woods Woodworking because they saw the state of furniture and other woodworking goods could much be improved upon from what you could buy at the big box stores. Most of what you see today is cut to size, one color, made of cheap materials that would not survive a family moving just across town! So, they thought “Why don’t we bring people hardwood goods that bring people joy wherever they are!”

Along the way, we had people contact us asking if we were interested in their old dining room tables, hardwood their parents/grandparents had stored away for years. Which gave us a new goal to strive and reach for: Repurposing hardwoods that would have otherwise been discarded without any thought. Thus, the Happy Woods Woodworking name was chosen. 

Today, we are striving to bring the best hardwood furniture and wood goods from as much repurposed materials that are clean and safe. Not only does this help keep our current forests, but it helps to reduce the cost of our products! This goal can help be met by viewers and customers like you!

We are selective in making sure we bring you projects that are clean and safe that we would use in our within our small family. 

Going forward, we are looking into any and all creative ways to reduce the use of freshly cut hardwoods, whether it be from your dining room table, to a blown over tree from a storm, to using the woods that were forgotten from 100 years ago. Reduce, Reuse, REPURPOSE.
